Southport Broadwater Parklands

Destined to become one of Australia's great foreshore parks, the Southport Broadwater Parklands combines community events with improved facilities to create an active green waterfront.

The first stage of the $42M project comprises a new pier, two new event lawns and a dedicated domain for special ceremonies.

Designers chose ACO's KlassikDrain trench drain to ensure, that during storms, there would be adequate removal of surface water from the main promenade area linking the southern area of the parklands to the pier. Heelsafe® iron grates were selected to provide a foot friendly environment for quests attending weddings and for residents and tourists visiting the area.
