Opened in 2018, Trinity Village Shopping Centre is a home to a large Coles supermarket, Liquorland, and a wide range of speciality retailers. The facility also includes a medical, childcare, and recreational centre. The shopping centre is located in the northern suburb of Alkimos, a coastal suburb of Perth.

Project Design Brief

Floor drainage is critical in the wash down areas of shopping centres to ensure standing water is removed without it being a hazard for staff. To enable easy maintenance to the floor drainage system to access potential blockage points, designers strategically located inspection openings. These inspection openings needed to be easily integrated into the floor and pipe work, inaccessible to the public, and be visually unobtrusive.

• The stainless steel cover discreetly harmonises with the polished concrete floor.
• Hex socket screws are used to fix the stainless steel cover into place.
