The Bunbury Port Authority in conjunction with Main Roads, WA has developed a strategic plan to alleviate traffic congestion into the port and adjacent industrial areas by providing a more direct road traffic route for large vehicles.

Designers were challenged with reduced shoulder widths along the median requiring drainage along certain superelevated sections. ACO's KerbDrain provided the ideal solution enabling continuous surface stormwater capture whilst not encroaching beyond the road's shoulder.

Unlike conventional kerb and gutter systems, KerbDrain is a compact monolithic channel & kerb profile drain that allows engineers to transform kerbs into continuous inlet structures with minimal excavation.
