Decorative Iron Wave Storm Drainage from ACO Cockburn Gateway Shopping City is located 21km south of the Perth CBD and recently underwent an $80M dollar expansion. The redevelopment included 41 specialty shops, a Target department store, food outlets, increased parking spaces, new restaurants, playgrounds and an amphitheatre in a newly landscaped piazza. Project Design Brief The designers requested that during storms all the surface water would be collected on the promenade and adjacent car park, so that it would not transgress into the shopping precinct. The level pavement necessitated a threshold linear drain that would be safe for pedestrians, easy to maintain, functional and visually appealing.
