With recent modernisation, including a large open living extension, the owners wanted to have an unobstructed panorama of the garden area and ultimately make it more accessible. Hence, Alspec teamed up with Arborcrest to remove the existing windows and doors to replace them with a four-panel sliding door that stacks to one side, providing the largest opening with excellent garden views.

Alspec's ProGlide® high performance sliding doors have a span capacity of 6.4-metres and are made with durable aluminium frames. The project was completed within just a few days which includes removal of old frames, installing new structural support beams, and fitting the ProGlide® high performance sliding doors with a matching Centor fly screen - an effective insect barrier that retracts completely with the ProGlide® when not in use.
