Sustainable Windows & Doors for Schools from Alspec

Alspec is proud to present the successful completion of this new junior school campus as part of the Central Coast Grammar School located in Erina Heights NSW. For this project, an adaptable, flexible, and student-centred structure was required, as well as sustainable windows and doors suitable for schools looking to adopt modern teaching practices.

To successfully create the desired collaborative learning spaces, flexibility was a must wherein furniture and rooms can be readily modified to adapt to the optimal environment. To satisfy this requirement, Alspec ProGlide Ultra Flat Sliding Doors were installed in the internal and external spaces to function as both access doors and operable walls. With their weather-resistant, durable aluminium profile, these doors can deliver excellent thermal, acoustic, and weather control. And to encourage natural ventilation, sections of Alspec's Hunter Evo Flush Glazed Framing systems were installed with operable louvres above both internal- and external-facing doors.
