Ready for the Support at Home Program.

Big changes are ahead for aged care providers, and it's important to be ready for the Support at Home Program. From 1 July 2025, the Australian Government will introduce the Support at Home program- a new, streamlined model that will replace the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Packages (HCP), and other home care services.

The Support at Home program is designed to be simpler, more flexible, and person-centred, giving older Australians more choice and control over the support they receive at home.

Key areas of change include:

  • Updates to service structures
  • Adjustments to the funding model
  • New invoicing and claiming workflows
  • Changes to core financial systems

CareVision recognises that transitions like these can feel complex. To support providers, CareVision is launching a 13-week series aimed at guiding organisations through every step of the Support at Home rollout.

During the series, providers can expect:

  • Weekly updates focused on different aspects of the transition
  • Practical tips to assist in preparation
  • CareVision tools to help with compliance and service delivery

CareVision remains committed to helping teams stay informed, confident, and ready for the Support at Home Program. Providers are encouraged to explore the available tools and resources and to reach out to the CareVision team at carevision.com with any questions or support needs.
