Athletics Track Drainage System from ACO

E.S. Marks Athletics Field, Sydney

The NSW State Government recently allocated funding to replace the old synthetic track surface at E.S. Marks Athletics Field, a significant and historical venue in Sydney's eastern suburbs. Works consisted of the removal and replacement of the existing track's top surface and underlay to IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federation) guidelines. The associated surface drainage system also needed to comply with the guideline's tight construction track tolerances.

Designers selected ACO's System 4000 with Slotted Polycrete® Covers. This linear precast modular drainage system can be installed early in the track's construction phase and provides key datum points for subsequent stages.
