Gold Coast University Hospital, is a major health facility located next to Griffith University. The $1.8 billion tertiary hospital has 750 beds and offers specialist cancer and cardiac services, neurosciences, trauma and neonatal intensive care.

The hospital incorporates seven buildings, a separate multilevel carpark and a helicopter landing site. An extensive network of walkways links the buildings.

There are a variety of pavers used at the site ranging from different colours to tactile surfaces.

Landscape designers wanted to ensure that the large number of cable enclosures housing services across the site, blended visually with the pavement pattern.

ACO's Urbanfil® covers met the designers' aesthetic requirements as the covers can bed a 40mm deep paver and has a discreet 2mm edge.
