The "Treco" name has been established since 1964.

Business commenced in Manly Vale NSW, later expanding & moving to Brookvale where four separate divisions operated.

After a company restructure in 1984, Treco Steel separated from the Garden Shed division.

Treco Steel now markets:

distributor products to Hardware & Building Supply Outlets;
structural steel products & services to Builders & Owner Builders.

In 1992, Treco Steel commenced marketing distributor products in Melbourne and now have a distribution facility at Noble Park.

Continued growth saw the relocation of the Sydney facility to Yennora in October 1998. The Yennora warehouse enabled a wider range of stock & services to be provided.

In 2002 Treco Steel expanded into Queensland with a distribution facility in Salisbury.

Treco Steel has continually strived to provide the most efficient and informative service in the supply of building materials to the housing market. The knowledge & experience of the sales and operations personnel allows the distribution process to be carried out with a minimum of fuss.
