Eastern Busway Stones Corner Station from ACO Polycrete The second stage of Brisbane's Eastern Busway Project comprises a 1.1km bus transitway costing $465m. The Stones Corner station is one of 2 stations whose route links the University of QLD to the South East Busway (Stage 1). In keeping with the design philosophy of previous busway projects in Brisbane, designers wanted to eliminate unsightly service enclosures where possible. ACO's Urbanfil® covers with brass edging were selected to preserve the visual continuity of the charcoal coloured honed concrete finish of the station walkways and thoroughfares.
