The new BMW car showroom in Adelaide was recently designed with a full glass facade enabling an uninterrupted view of the cars on display.

The glass facade design created challenges as the air-conditioning ducts were restricted to the floor area instead of the wall and roof. Additionally, the air-conditioning ducts needed to be aesthetically pleasing and able to withstand wheel loads.

The designers specified ACO's Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates for their sleek appearance and to enhance the floor design and finish.

The 5mm gap in the grate allows for sufficient airflow from the airconditioning ducts to circulate evenly throughout the showroom.

The Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates, rated to R10 AS 4586 (slip resistance) were reinforced to withstand showroom cars moving over or resting on the grates. For more product information visit: www.heelsafe.com.au
