Perth Arena is a world class multipurpose entertainment and sporting facility located in the heart of the city and is the first stage of a 13 hectare urban renewal and development project in Perth.

The Perth Arena has been ranked 22nd in the world's top 200 venues, ahead of New York City's Madison Square Garden and London's Wembley Stadium.

The designers wanted to create a continuous pavement design and therefore minimise the appearance of the numerous infrastructure services in the pavement surrounding the site.

ACO collaborated with the Western Australian based telecommunications company, Amcom, to develop a custom paver infill cover that accommodated Amcom's standard locking method.

The access cover ensures a high level of security via a padlock to prevent unauthorised entry into the telecommunication service pits and also provided an uninterrupted pavement design.
