PowerDrain System Used to Upgrade Raceway from ACO Polycrete

Barbagallo Raceway is a motorsport circuit in Wanneroo, located about 50km north of Perth. To maintain the V8 Supercar Racing contract for Barbagallo Raceway, the WA Government needed to fund a significant upgrade of the facility.

The first stage of the upgrade was the addition of a new pit facility in the centre of the circuit with a connecting bridge.

ACO's PowerDrain system equipped with heavy duty anti-shunt boltless locking grates was selected to withstand the dynamic wheel loads of vehicles exiting the garage area. ACO free technical support was used by designers to help size the trench drain system to ensure rainfall would not leave ponding in the pit area.
