Custom Made Anti-Slip Tree Grates Melbourne from ACO

Melbourne Tennis Centre

The Melbourne Park Tennis Centre (Rod Laver Arena) is the home of the Australian Open and many other events ranging from motorbike super-crosses to rock concerts and ballets.

As part of a recent works program, a 4.5 mega litre stormwater retention tank was installed and integrated with the extensive landscaping along the western concourse across to Batman Avenue.

Designers selected ACO Drain with Stainless Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates to remove the surface water from the new hardstand areas whilst ensuring safe passage of pedestrians. For visual continuity across the new hardstand pavements, the same grate was then specified as the custom tree grate surrounds.
