ASP Access Floors were thrilled to be specified by Brookfield Properties for their modern raised access floor systems, ICON X, URBAN Interlock, and Magnes. In this case, the Sydney company was tasked with providing a customisable floor system that offered full access to underfloor services but for the heritage-style 405 Bourke Street, Melbourne, tower. Over 62,000m² of commercial raised access flooring was supplied with the majority being ASP's new Magnes range finished in either Maple or Spotted Gum. A bespoke expansion joint solution was also required to create a seamless transition between the new tower and the original CBD building.

ICON X by ASP Access Floors comprises their classic commercial raised access floor range. It features their patented ASP Icon Panel with steel cementitious construction. URBAN Interlock was specified for its ability to host stone or tile finishes. However, it is ASP's Magnes interlocking magnetic timber flooring system that ultimately complemented this project. Magnes is purposely designed to magnetically bond timber floor finishes, such as those chosen in this project, to an access floor system.
