New standards from Good Environmental Choice Australia
Good Environmental Choice Australia is pleased to announce the
release of two new product category standards for the Australian Ecolabel Program:
Outdoor Furniture, applicable to a wide range of outdoor furniture products including
outdoor settings, park benches, roadside furniture and outdoor fittings.
Panel Boards, applicable to a range of panel board products, generally for indoor
use such as interior panelling as well as use in further processed products such as
furniture.
Products certified under these Standards are required to demonstrate environmentally
preferable raw material sourcing, minimum recycled content requirements, chemical
additive and manufacturing safety, have a product stewardship offer to customers and
much more.
With these new Standards, the Good Environmental Choice Label continues to provide
Australia's leading assurance of both quality and environmental preferability.
