This building serves as an office hub for the community-based organisation that has been providing fire and emergency protection to the central business district and extending to a few suburban areas in Melbourne. To make the place friendlier and safer, especially for the vision-impaired or those using wheelchairs, DTAC was tapped to supply their classic warning tactiles which are made of durable, UV-stabilised urethanes. To make sure that they blended smoothly with the building architecture, the team used a black Colourmax finish with a smooth outer edge.
