Floor the recession with Safety Flooring - 100% Australian made flooring

Sydney-based specialist flooring company, Safety Flooring, is calling on architects, specifiers and designers to encourage Federal Government stimulus funding be spent only on 100% Australian made, environmentally sustainable products, and not be sent offshore.

"The Government's Building the Education Revolution means an injection of nearly $15 billion to build or upgrade Australia's schools," says Loretta Pearson, Director, Safety Floorings. "We want to encourage Schools to spend that money within Australia, and so Safety Flooring, like many companies, is marketing its 100% Australian-made, recycled product credentials as the key benefits of its product range."

"Cheaper products manufactured overseas are often specified for Government-funded building projects in an effort to keep costs to a minimum," said Ms Pearson. "Our message is clear, buy Australian made products and perhaps pay a little more, but reap the long term benefits."

"Our strategy is to develop a direct mail campaign directly targeting specifiers, designers and architects specializing in the design and building of education facilities, and then follow up and arrange individual consultations," said Ms Pearson. "At the same time we're communicating directly with P&C Associations to encourage them to think Australian-made, sustainable products when selecting a new flooring product for their school."
