• Primer: Elastocol 500.
• Base Sheet: Soprema Soprasun 3.0s, APP Modified Bitumen Membrane - Mechanically Fixed.
• Cap Sheet: Soprema Soprasun 4.0AR Fully Bonded.
• Liquid Flashing: Soprema Alsan Flashing.

Project Details

Preparation: Existing failing membrane to be completely removed a minimum of 500mm by mechanical grinding to all perimeter up-turns, plinths, pipe penetrations, protrusions and drains to provide a clean bare concrete substrate to allow the membrane to be fully adhered to the structural substrate.

Substrate: All areas of ponding water to be appropriately repaired to provide appropriate 1:100 falls to drains in the structural substrate. This will require the existing membrane to be removed to these areas.

Primer: Soprema Elastocol 500, solvent based bituminous primer applied to all perimeter upturns, plinths, pipe penetrations, protrusions and drains.

Base Sheet: Soprema Soprasun 3.0S, APP modified bitumen sheet membrane, mechanically fixed through the central roof area and full bonded to all perimeter upturns, plinths, pipe penetrations, protrusions and drains.

Cap Sheet: Soprema Soprasun 4.0AR, APP modified bitumen sheet membrane with mineral chip finish, full bonded to the previously installed base layer.

Sealant Mastic: Soprema Sopramastic, solvent based bitumen mastic.

Liquid Flashing: Soprema Alsan Flashing, is a single component polyurethane/bitumen liquid flashing to be used in conjunction with a Soprema Flashing Reinforcement and completed with mineral chips.
