WALKERSTON FIRE STATION - JAXXON 1525/Alox Non-Slip Finish

Approved NMP applicator, The Epoxy Floor Coating Specialists, carried out this application to provide a non-slip finish with clearly defined demarkation areas.

Surface preparation consisted of diamond grinding and high-pressure hot water rotary cleaning.

Kevlar-reinforced JAXXON 1525 was selected and applied in two coats due to the excellent wear and impact resistance properties provided. Alox (aluminium oxide) was broadcast into the surface while the first coat was still wet. Once cured, a second coat of JAXXON 1525 was applied.
