Every project is a learning experience for Louvreclad and one perfect example is the Thomas Dixon Centre facade revamp. What was formerly a shoe factory, the Queensland Ballet transformed into the Thomas Dixon Centre at West End QLD. This world-class performing arts facility houses dance studios and provides room for training programs as well as space for the wider community.

One of the challenges of this project is the client has already documented and engineered screens and Louvreclad needed to follow on this intent. The typical process for projects is that screens and louvres are engineered by a specialist contractor. Some compromises were made but in the end, Louvreclad was able to deliver and the client was pleased.
