Job Description:
The local council of Darebin, Victoria, required an immediate remedy to upgrade their much loved Westgarth football pavilion. With the timber treads rotting in places due to water ingress, age and wear, it was fast becoming a safety concern for all involved.

After consultation with Rhino, the relevant decision makers selected ArmaFloor as the most suitable coating system for its high abrasion resistance, water proofing capabilities and pleasant glossy appearance.

The system had to be applied with minimal destruction or impact to the surrounding area so the wooden seating in the pavilion could be preserved for coating in the future.

The coated surfaces would need to remain safe in all conditions so a non-slip broadcast was added to the intermediate coat for added slip prevention when wet.

As with any well planned job, the application process of ArmaFloor was strictly adhered to with the preparation, priming and final application to complete the job.

Now visitors and spectators alike can continue to enjoy and support their local AFL (footy) team in their newly upgraded stand.
