Flexible Joint Sealant from Bayset

Queensland Magnesia - SCUBAPOX 5335 Flexible Joint Sealant - Rotary Cooling Bath

Approved NMP applicator, The Epoxy Floor Coating Specialists, carried out this application using Scubapox 5335 Flexible Sealant to bridge expansion joints in QMAG's Rotary Cooling Bath.

Surface preparation consisted of removing significant debris and sludge from the joint areas on the base of the bath structure, then high-pressure hot water rotary cleaning.

Kevlar-reinforced JAXXON 1525 was used as a basecoat to ensure optimum sealing of the joint area and as an ideal finish on which to apply the Scubaopx 5335 Flexible Sealant.

Richard Mactaggart of The Epoxy Floor Coating Specialists reports that the coating has performed to expectations.
