New Directions in Crib Walls.

Concrete Crib retaining walls have been, and continue to provide a cost effective engineering solutions for many situations where engineered retaining structures are required in commercial and infrastructure applications. Crib walls are a traditional gravity structure, many walls have been constructed to ten metres and higher. Concrib is currently developing a range of architectural enhancements to provide a choice of finishes as an alternative to the traditional open cell look of crib structures. The designs include a completely enclosed face that can be painted or textured, textured/painted panels, mesh for plant growth, and a variety of panel and paint options. Most of these systems can be retrofitted to existing structures. We believe that the possibilities to enhance the look of the walls with a wide choice of treatments will combine the sound engineering qualities of the crib system with up to date presentation.
