Description: Affordable Housing in South Brisbane precinct.

Voltex DS was applied to the pre-cast panel at the Pre-cast yard, increasing installation speed & eliminating this waterproofing requirement from taking place on site.

Brisbane Common Ground will provide 146 studio and one-bedroom units for people on low incomes and people who were formerly homeless.

There is a nationwide impetus to address homelessness in real, measured terms.

In the spirit of 'homelessness it is everyone's responsibility', Brisbane Common Ground is being delivered through a government-business-community partnership. The capital cost and support services are being funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments and the building constructed by Grocon at cost.

Products Installed Below Ground:
Approx. 4,500 sqm of Voltex DS/SWR installed to sub-slab, contiguous pile, pre-cat panels & lift pits. Waterstop RX101 was installed to all construction joints and around all pipe penetrations.
