Our new Paints & Coatings standard

GECA has released the latest of their national, environmentally preferable product standards, bringing the total number of standards produced by GECA to 40.

The new Paints and Coatings standard (officially known as 'GECA 23-2012 Paints and Coatings' replacing 'GECA 23-2005 Architectural and Protective Coatings') will recognise best-practice, environmentally responsible products available within the Australian market and for the first time, encompasses artist and student paints.

The GECA AGM is coming...

We're in the early stages of planning our AGM (to be held in the Sydney CBD) and thought we'd prompt you to keep the first week in November free. We'll of course be sending out more details as we get closer to the date. We're looking forward to seeing our members there, and have planned a great Speaker Session for you all.

'Total Facilities Live' conference and expo

GECA (along with a number of GECA-certified businesses exhibited this year at Total Facilities Live the nation's largest exhibition and conference for building operators, managers and facility professionals.

Billed as "The destination for all the products, technology, knowledge and networking you need to optimise, maintain and manage your buildings and facilities" it certainly didn't disappoint.

Thanks to all who stopped by our booth for a chat, and many thanks to Sarah Jordan from GECA licensee HealtheClean (Derivan) who came to promote her certified products but spent much of the time talking about the benefits of certifying with GECA.
