The system deployment of Ram Push from flat to a closed upright position is executed via hydraulic rams. Ram Push is operated using an electronic control system, which activates the barrier deployment ram motors. The electronic control system also includes a switchboard that operates the audible and visual pending deployment alarms. The switchboard can be found enclosed in a locked, powder coated control panel.

The main control panel of Ram Push is of a digital circuit type. The cutting-edge design effectively prevents the malfunction of Ram Push to such incidences as short circuits. Permanent power supply allows Ram Push to operate in deployment standby mode for a minimum of seven (7) days without receiving a recharge from the main power supply onsite. In addition, Ram Push is in service for a minimum of ten (10) deployment functions without recharging.
