Three new technological developments in TCL's C835 Mini LED TV backlighting:

Advanced fourth-generation backlighting system- the TVs are equipped with an advanced Mini LED innovation called OD20, where the distance between the backlight system and the LCD panel is 20mm. This delivers incredible contrast and enhanced picture quality
Direct Drive- the onboard LEDs are capable of changing state extremely quickly i.e., less than that required to display an image. This feature eliminates shadows on moving objects, resulting in increased realism
Round Halo diodes-no longer square in shape, round halo diodes are more effective at controlling the light generated, significantly reducing the halo phenomenon. Also known as blooming, this is when the light from the bright LEDs escapes and bleeds into the space of the dark LEDs
