Heritage Gardens for The Terraces by AYZ Landscapes

AYZ Landscapes has proudly spearheaded the reconstruction of the heritage gardens for The Terraces, a community facility with a history of over 75 years of high-quality senior care. Over 1.5 hectares is an 100-bed residential aged care facility, 23-bed dementia unit, and 70 over-55's independent living units, which are all part of an extensive effort to maximise the quality of life of its residents.

The new and improved heritage garden was part of the upgrading plans for the facilities, aiming to achieve the most incredible views for the benefits of the residents. Aside from the garden, the project also comprised a courtyard to assist those with dementia and an additional BBQ area with shelter for visiting families.

The new landscape enabled a more engaging, positive, and forward-thinking community that the elderly can take advantage of. The heritage garden has also created a thriving space where they can gather in harmony and safety while enjoying their independent retirement living.
