Energy Efficient HVAC Bag Filters - Hi-flo from Camfil Airepure

Camfil's range of Hi-Flo glass fibre, multi-pocket bag air filters include an innovative pocket design for optimal energy efficient air distribution, resulting in longer filter life and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for your premises.

TCO includes the sum of total product, maintenance and energy costs for a given period, with savings found through high performance filters requiring less frequent replacement and lower resistance operation resulting in reduced fan horsepower plus energy consumption.

Often used within commercial or industrial grade HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required, the Camfil Hi-Flo is designed to remove airborne contaminants such as smoke, bacteria, fumes, fungi, and virus-bearing droplet nuclei. Available in M6, F7, F8, and F7 efficiencies to EN 779, Camfil Hi-Flo filters are ideal for use within supply and exhaust air applications, including pre-filtration within cleanrooms. Certain Hi-Flo models are also available with an A+ EuroVent Energy Rating and/or Camfil ProSafe certification (conforming to BRCGS global standards for food safety).

True to Camfil's core values for lasting reliability and value, Hi-Flo HVAC bag filters are engineered & manufactured with quality materials plus construction techniques to ensure high performance, long filter life, and low resistance operation. Particle capture performance is unaffected by dust loading and/or humidity. The Hi-Flo filter range will operate in up to 100% relative humidity.

Product features of the Camfil Hi-Flo range include:

  • High lofted air laid glass microfibre filtration media to ensure consistent sub-micron particle capture, reliable efficiency, and a low resistance to airflow throughout the life of the filter.
  • Additional synthetic micro-mesh media backing to ensure filtration media protection and support in turbulent or varying airflows.
  • Controlled media spacing to minimise pocket to pocket contact, ensuring uniform airflow and full utilisation of the filter media surface.
  • Applied gasket seal on the vertical edge of the filter header, unique sealant and stitching techniques on the media pockets, and Camfil's exclusive Sure-Clench Crimps to ensure leak free filter performance.
  • Robust galvanised steel frame header for models designed for HVAC applications (Hi-Flo M, P, TM, A, and UF).
  • Moulded, rigid, and aerodynamically shaped plastic header frame for models designed for HVAC applications and as pre filtration for cleanroom applications (Hi-Flo XLT, XLS, and ProSafe).
