Ardesia stone from DécoR Stone captures the spirit of Australia

DécoR Stone is set to launch another great range of natural decorative stone solutions. The new collection is called "DécoR Ardesia Stone" and is available in two colours - Bisque and Onyx. Individual slate tiles measure 400mm by 200mm by 20-30mm.

Slate tiles add elegance to both commercial and residential projects, particularly architecturally designed higher-end residential homes. DécoR Ardesia Stone will add a touch of urban sophistication to most commercial and residential designs whilst the textured feel of the slate tiles will bring dimension to those designs. "We wanted to introduce colours that are both modern and Australian. DécoR Ardesia Stone was selected not only for the colours, which blend well with the Australian landscape and current trends but also for their three-dimensional layered texture. Apart from aiming to offer latest and trend-setting decorative stone solutions, DécoR Stone's decision to introduce this new collection was based on long-term benefits of natural slate. "When you compare slate and its life span to other materials, it's a cost-effective material," says Geoff Iles. Influenced by current trends, DécoR Ardesia Stone was selected as the new range. Although, satisfying current trend demands, DécoR Stone also wanted to offer the design and building markets a product that exhibits unique characteristics and stands out amongst other decorative products. "There are a lot of decorative materials that do not really add aesthetics and function to designs. I have seen many such cases. Due to the layered surface and the variegation of colour, this range adds visual appeal like no other material," says Geoff.
