Innovative high performance insulation systems to be showcased at DesignBUILD

With the ever-increasing stringencies on thermal performance of the building fabric, building and design professionals are looking hard for solutions, and Kingspan Insulation has the answers.

In December 2009 Air-Cell Insulation, Australia's leading insulation innovator, was acquired by Kingspan Insulation, the world's leading manufacturer of rigid, high performance insulation.

At DesignBUILD in Melbourne (23 - 25 June), Kingspan Insulation will showcase both its Air-Cell® and Kooltherm® range of products in delivering innovative insulation alternatives to conventional bulk fibre insulation.

On display will be a number of unique, high performance thermal solutions to help achieve 6 Star Energy Ratings and compliance with BCA 2010 and beyond.

Kingspan Insulation Managing Director, Mr. Scott Gibson, said that innovation was critical in achieving greater levels of thermal efficiency.

The Kingspan Kooltherm® range is a super high performance, fibre-free rigid insulation core sandwiched between composite facings that vary depending on the specific product and application. Kingspan Insulation products are manufactured without the use of CFCs/HCFCs and have zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
