How to Install Ledge Stone Cladding

Each individual ledge stone panels has very delicate details providing the decorative industry with a product that has a unique in colour and texture.

Unlike similar products in the market, DecoR Ledge is manufactured using natural stone materials such as slate, granite, quartz and schist. Capture the appeal of the old world charm with this new collection of natural stone ledge stone.

Ledge stone can be applied as a wall cladding, and thanks to dccor Stone's corner profile pieces it is a very versatile product.

Required - Power drill with attatchment for mixing the adhesive.
- 10mm Notched Trowl
-Adhesive; select a 2 part cementitious system for best quality.

DecoR Stone recommends;
- "Kerabond Plus'" and "Isolastic Pure".
- Ledge Stone comes in 600mm panels for flat area installations, and 300mm and 600mm panels for corner installation.

1. Prepare Adhesive
- Pour required amount of isolastic pure intomixing drum.
- Add Kerabond Powder Second.
-Mix using power drill and attachment.

2. Apply ledge Stone
- Use 10mm notched trowl to spread the adhesive.
- The adhesive needs to be spread on BOTH the back of the ledge stone and on the area it's being applied.
- Start at corner and apply 3 or 4 rows upward.
- Firmly press ledge stone into position, starting from the bottom up.
- Use level to ensure the stone is applied straight.
- Don't apply higher than 1m on the first day.
