Palisades PosiStrut modules floor builders from MiTek Australia 
Historic landmark, The Palisades Hotel in Sydney's CBD recently underwent quite a restoration...especially to the upper floors and a new roof-top restaurant. Due to time and access issues the owner / developer, Claudius Wilms decided to have the flooring prefabricated off-site. Claudius had seen MiTek PosiStrut modules being used overseas and thought them ideal for his unique challenge. He chose Riverstone Frame & Truss to do the job as they had many years experience with MiTek PosiStruts and both had developed a strong working relationship on past jobs. 'Measuring the site accurately was critical - as it was an old building and we couldn't simply assume everything was square,' said Ian Harlum, Production Manager at Riverstone. 'Building the modules wasn't all that difficult - plus, we ensured none were over-sized to avoid unnecessary transport / craning issues. PosiStrut's unique 'open-webbed' design allowed easy access for services, resulting in further time-savings on-site; so Claudius was very happy with the result.'
