The restoration of the Harry Seidler-designed Meller House in Castlecrag required window furnishings that would respect the architectural intent while addressing contemporary performance needs. With expansive glass walls framing views across Sailors Bay and surrounding bushland, solar control was critical to managing heat gain, glare and UV exposure.

Verosol was specified to provide discreet window covering solutions capable of integrating within existing pelmets. In living areas, Verosol 205 Performance SilverScreen roller blinds were installed, delivering effective heat and glare reduction while maintaining outward visibility. Bedrooms were fitted with Verosol Twin Pleated blinds, combining SilverScreen Originals Metallised pleated sheers for daytime use with metallised room-darkening pleated fabrics for night-time privacy.

The use of Verosol's metallised fabrics supported balanced temperature regulation, UV protection and glare control throughout the residence, helping preserve interior finishes while maintaining comfort without compromising the original architectural expression.
