Window Blinds for Sustainable Offices by Verosol.

Verosol's shading systems were specified for Olderfleet at 477 Collins Street, Melbourne, supporting the redevelopment of a row of Victorian buildings into a 58,000sqm commercial tower and heritage facade project.

Designed by Grimshaw Architects for Mirvac, Olderfleet targeted high environmental performance, including Platinum WELL Certification, 5 Star Green Star and a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy Rating. In response, Verosol supplied blinds featuring its PVC-free, flame-retardant 123 Earth Screen fabric, selected to contribute to thermal efficiency as well as the fitout's visual quality.

The Deloitte fitout used fully automated dual blinds, while the rest of the building incorporated manual systems. Featured products included chain-operated Ambience Roller Blinds in standard and multi-link formats, alongside motorised and automated Ambience Twin Roller Blinds. A custom Onyx Bronze version of 123 Earth Screen was developed specifically for the project.
