Being the most popular and heavily used natural stones in the market place, Classic Travertine is Sareen Stone's best selling floor and wall tile. This Incredibly beautiful and highly desirable travertine with its neutral beige colouring is especially suited to modern Australian environments.

Working well with neutral styling, Classic Travertine is used in both internal and external areas. Classic travertine tiles work particularly well when used poolside (partially filled onsite) to compliment aqua-blue tiles and lush green landscaping. A builder favorite, Classic travertine (unfilled & honed) continues to be popular stone used indoor areas due to its classic beauty and durability.

Due to its popularity, there are several grades or variations of Classic Travertine currently available. These variations depend mainly on the tone/colour of the stone (either lighter or darker) and the intensity of its veinage as well as the overall atheistic of the stone. The grades or variations range from First, Basic and Commercial.

Here at Sareen Stone, we pride ourselves on only importing the first, top quality Classic Travertine from Turkey. Our Classic Travertine is cross cut; where the slabs are cut against the veinage. This gives a surface with no veinage but instead a surface composed by shades with different light tones.

The lower grades of Classic Travertine present even more holes, darker coloured areas and black spots. In short, it is not as clean and uniform as our quality travertine.

Sareen Stone's Noce Travertine will provide a stunning backdrop to any interior or exterior environment. Imported from Turkey, this travertine is a mixture of brown, beige and rust tones. The natural colour shift adds interest and in a tumbled finish will add a truly classic effect.

Noce Travertine is suitable for applications where the Classic or Navona Travertine is too light in colour. The Noce Travertine adds depth and warmth being richer in colour. This stone look best when used is light filled paces. It's a very popular choice for French provincial or Shabby Chic styling.
