The fabric panels of the 8800 shading system can be tilted and fully retracted.

The Silent Gliss 8800 provides an innovative and elegant way of shading large glass roofs by combining side profiles and fabric panels. The panels can be both tilted and fully retracted in order to optimize daylight management. Solar protection and a clear view of the sky are possible at the same time. The louvre design also allows air to flow, avoiding trapped heat between fabric and glazing.

The system is suitable for glass roofs up to 36 m2 and can be used for horizontal roofs as well as sloping applications up to a maximum angle of 30°. The fabric louvres enable the sun to be redirected according to particular needs. This method of light shading can radically alter the look of a room.

Silent Gliss has selected a specific range of fabrics for this application. Panel-supporting parts are built in flame-retardant and UV-resistant material. The panels can be retracted and removed for easy and efficient cleaning.
