SilverScreen Performance Fabric for Brisbane River House by Verosol Verosol's 203 SilverScreen Performance Fabric has been beautifully integrated into the Brisbane River House, a project by Mark Williams Architects, delivering both comfort and clarity to a riverside home designed to embrace Queensland's subtropical climate. Tasked with maximising sweeping river views while reducing glare and heat from the western sun, the design team collaborated with Shades of Australia, led by Darryl Thistleton, to specify Verosol's high-performance Ambience Motorised Roller Blinds. The 203 SilverScreen fabric, featuring a microscopic aluminium layer, reflects up to 82% of solar radiation, reduces glare, and blocks UV- without compromising visibility. Verosol's Ambience Twin roller blinds were used, finished in Haven White Blockout. The blinds maintain a light, contemporary aesthetic while ensuring exceptional thermal efficiency. This installation marks the first use of 203 SilverScreen by Shades of Australia in Queensland, setting a new benchmark for comfort and design excellence in riverside living.
