When a valued customer posed the question about improving safety on-site for their contractors working at heights, MiTek fabricator Trussmaster (NSW) suggested a very simple, yet effective solution: TrussSpacers! These would quickly prove an on-site winner at a large 'unit' development in Ropes Crossing, 45km west of Sydney.

Using TrussSpacers is an easy way for the carpenter and builder to comply with the WorkCover NSW Industry Standard for Erection of Timber roof trusses. They also comply with: AS4440-2004, the code for 'Installation of nail plated timber trusses'). TrussSpacers can be fixed to trusses prior to lifting. They sit flush with the truss chord while being lifted into position... and are then rotated 90 degrees to be effortlessly fixed to the adjoining, previously braced truss. This ease of operation means TrussSpacers can actually speed up roof construction and improve on-site safety for truss installers.
