Timber Floor Moisture Protection from Premium Floors

TIMBER PROTECT+
UNIQUE BEVEL TECHNOLOGY TO PREVENT MOISTURE ABSORPTION
Problem
- When water is absorbed by the open
pores it can react with the finish, leaving
a black or white mark on the surface.
- When cleaning, dirt mixed with water
penetrates the pores: the water evaporates
but the dirt stays in the pores.
- When water can enter the pores on the short
sides of the planks, mold can start to grow.
Competition does not offer a solution
for this problem!
Mop test - real life set-up and real life cleaning
- Samples with short end joints
- Wet mopping with dirty water: Quick-Step and 10 competitors
- Duration: 4 weeks - 2x/day

Goal: Evaluation of changes in the joints

Solution
Unique bevel technology on short side with
water repellent coating
- Extra resistant to liquids
- No absorption of dirt and water in the joints

How does it work?
- The surface of a wooden plank is closed by the protective layers of
lacquer or oil. Hence, water cannot penetrate the surface of the plank.
- The strength of the Uniclic® on the long side holds the boards
together. Water cannot penetrate the long side joints.
- Short side = weak point. Innovative bevel technology seals short
side: water cannot penetrate and cause water damage.

Benefits
Carefree living
- Extreme durability: Your floor will look beautiful for longer!
- Very easy to maintain: Regular mopping doesn't harm the bevels.
- Stain resistant: Accidents can happen, but don't worry, the surface
is sealed.
