Cold Castable Polyurethane Elastomer from Era Polymers

Gordon Hooker based in Queensland, Australia made concrete moulds (Pattern Liners) using Era Polymers Erapol CCM75A for Stratumn Unlimited PNG to manufacture precast concrete panels for the Star Mountain Plaza project in PNG.

The concrete moulds were an impressive 7m wide x 2.4m high, each mould weighing 400kg. Once manufactured they were air freighted to PNG to Stratumn Unlimited PNG, ready for them to create the precast concrete panels for the Star Mountain Plaza project.

Erapol CCM75A is a medium performance cold castable polyurethane elastomer free from MOCA and flammable solvents. It produces an economical elastomer with good toughness and high elongation and chemical resistance. Erapol CCM75A has a low viscosity, a pot life of 13 minutes and can be cured at room or elevated temperatures, so is easy to process.

Applications include concrete and flexible moulds, stamp pads, cast in place linings, sound dampening applications and casters.
