Innovation in itself builds on human knowledge to change the way the industry invests and grows its talents. It develops leaders, thinkers, new business models, and refines the skills people bring to an organisation driving the revolutionary changes in today's built environment.

Innovation fosters a culture of free exchange of creative ideas or interactions between the private sector and the academe, because afterall, it is the industry's responsibility to foster the next generation of leaders in the Building and Construction and Design Industry.

Last year's successful launch of DesignBUILD RAW in Melbourne proved Australia is ready to take innovative collaboration to the next level!

DesignBUILD RAW creates a platform where integrating building design inspiration in the academe meets the collective experience of the industry. This year's program will debut in the new International Convention Centre in Sydney and will feature projects from architecture and design programs from the University of Sydney (USYD), University of New South Wales (UNSW), and University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

Mentoring is important in sharpening the skills and creativity of architecture and design students. through programs like DesignBUILD RAW, wherein the academe and industry leaders can brainstorm and generate viable methods to improve their respective fields.

Student participants will have the chance to showcase their finest work and gain exposure in front of Australia's best industry leaders.
