Design Notes: When Mark Lafferty went to design the Oak chair he knew just the material he wanted to work with.

"Perspex® Frost from Mitchell Plastics is a nice, modern material - the source of inspiration. It also meets all our requirements: it is safe (Perspex® is unbreakable whereas glass doesn't comply with this point) and has excellent vacuum formability, colour range and surface. The translucent nature of the Perspex material also helps to create a unique affect against the oak chair frame".

An added advantage in choosing Frost material was maintenance. Due to its unique textured finish, Frost is particularly resilient to finger marks.
