‘Pearl Gloss’ Perspex Kitchen Doors from Mitchell Laminates

Design Notes: Designer Geoff Little chose AliFrost® 55mm Box in Perspex® Pearlescent Pearl to create this stunning, high gloss, metallic like kitchen.

Having used gloss painted doors in the past, Geoff was concerned with the slight “rippling” effect, often visible within the painted finish. Unlike painted doors, AliFrost® aluminium framed doors, use a solid genuine Perspex® insert, which produces the perfect sheen i.e. no more “rippling” effect.

As part of the design, the doors were placed in a high position, therefore functionality became an important consideration. AliFrost® aluminium framed doors offered significant weight advantages over traditional door alternatives, thus making them much easier to open and close.
