AliMesh aluminium frame doors by Mitchell Laminates
The aluminium mesh inserts within AliMesh® aluminium frame cabinet doors is breathable, allowing air circulation, making them ideal for audio visual equipment and home theatres or where air circulation is required to prevent over heating. Designer Sue Lawler, from Burbank Group, chose AliMesh® designer aluminium frame doors to create this unique industrial inspired looking kitchen pantry. Sick of using traditional door materials, Sue was looking for something truly unique, yet practical. AliMesh® aluminium doors use a decorative range of clear anodised or powder coated aluminium mesh inserts, housed within a designer aluminium frame. It's this combination of contemporary aluminium frame with retro looking mesh insert that sets AliMesh® doors about from traditional cabinetry doors. While the aluminium mesh used with AliMesh® doors, has been specially designed to prevent visibility inside the cabinet, it still allows air flow and light to travel through it, thus giving it a translucent feel. The weight advantages of AliMesh® doors had a major influence on Sue's final design. Due to their light weight, larger pantry doors were possible, a cross rail was also added through the centre to add stability and for added affect.
