Viega opens Australian showroom and training centre

Viega has opened its Australian showroom and training centre - and the feedback has already been resoundingly positive. Located in the Norwest Business Park in Sydney's Baulkham Hills, the purpose designed and built facility has a seminar centre and showroom to enhance the local market's understanding of Viega's products, solutions and technical capabilities.

"The Viega Group is among the leading manufacturers of installation technology worldwide and is known for quality, innovation and service," says Rod Luker, national sales manager for Viega Australia.

"Our new showroom is designed to increase awareness of Viega and its solutions, showcase our products and educate our existing and prospective Australian customers on the features of our products. It provides a comfortable and practical environment to share our international knowledge and applied innovation."

The 200m² facility, which includes a mezzanine level, features a seminar/training area, in addition to the showroom where a range of Viega products are featured. These include Viega's Propress and Sanpress Inox ranges, together with flushing systems and drainage technology.

Training sessions are designed for various trades and professions including engineers, designers, hydraulic consultants, architects, builders and major plumbing contractors. Viega employees in Australia are also trained at the facility.

"The beauty of this centre is that attendees can learn more about Viega and its different solutions, and they can undertake hands-on training of our products," explains Robert Hardgrove, Viega's technical manager / strategic projects.

"This includes products which are already available in the market, those that will become available in the local market, in addition to innovations for which Viega is renowned. All aspects of our products, their applications and installation techniques are covered in the training sessions.

"The training material will obviously evolve as we release new product solutions, and we will also be holding industry seminars with international expert guest speakers."

Viega has already held a number of training sessions at the new facility, and feedback has been very positive.

"The general consensus from visitors is that they have developed a significantly deeper understanding and appreciation of Viega and our varied solutions," Robert adds.
