Design your building future with
information, innovation and inspiration in 2012

Australia's leading building and construction trade expo, DesignBUILD, returns to Melbourne at a crucial time when Victorian building professionals need to work smarter and more efficiently in what is a challenging period for the industry.

According to Exhibition Manager, Frank Matus, the expo is expected to bolster and assist the market by bringing the industry together to showcase latest innovations and generate new business opportunities for the year ahead.

DesignBUILD offers industry trades and professionals an ideal platform to design their future with a host of improvements and transformations underway for 2012.

"Experience and specific industry involvement has developed and added value to DesignBUILD Melbourne by creating new show features and delivering more relevant content, giving the industry the tools it needs to succeed in the current market.

Visitors wanted more hands on demonstrations, more sustainable building products and an easy approach to review new innovations which DesignBUILD will deliver in 2012," he said.

For many years building and construction trades and professionals in Melbourne have been so busy that getting away to attend an expo has been tough, but for those who have, the time and investment has paid dividends.

With the support of major sponsor, Mazda (displaying the all new BT-50), and new show features including dedicated Tool Demo Stations, interactive Innovation Alley and bigger than ever Green Building Zone, organisers are confident that the 2012 expo will be the most successful yet.

"The show has been designed in direct response to the industry's needs at the most opportune time; this is highlighted through the early participation of leading industry associations and key companies like Austral Insulation, CSR, CSS, Framecad, Hilti, Kingspan and Trend Windows among others," he said.

The DesignBUILD 2012 expo, which opens at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27 - 29 June, is the ideal place for all building, architecture and construction trades and professionals to get a complete overview of the latest innovations and inspirations from within the industry.

"There has never been a more important time for the industry to proactively research and invest in their future. Sourcing new products and applications to win new business and stay ahead of the competition will prove crucial this year; DesignBUILD offers this and more in a relaxed, interactive environment," he said.
