DesignBUILD 2012 Seminar Series

Industry leaders align to deliver
topical and aspirational DesignBUILD seminars

Leaders from the Building Designers Association of Victoria, Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF), Cordell Information, Studor, Illuminating Engineering Society and Apprentice Group Australia are just some of the speakers lined up to feature in the most anticipated DesignBUILD seminar series to date.

Each year the DesignBUILD expo seeks to enhance the visitor experience by providing access to industry leaders who share aspirational case studies, new product information and forward thinking concepts to better the building industry.

Exhibition Manager, Frank Matus, said the 2012 DesignBUILD seminar series called on renowned industry experts to collaborate with the industry and achieve more sustainable economic and environmental outcomes. Visitors will be able to propel their professional development forward with CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points on offer for industry professionals on selected seminars.

"This year's seminars are designed to complement the overall experience so that visitors can not just see, touch and trial new products, but hear from the leaders of the industry all in one place.

"It's the shared information and collaborative thinking about new trends, concepts and ideas that will help to generate opportunities for the industry and allow visitors to competitively position themselves and their businesses," he said.

Attendance to the expo, which opens at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27 - 29 June, is free for trades and professionals, whilst seminar bookings are now open at www.designbuildexpo.com.au
